The baglafecht weaver (Ploceus baglafecht) is a species of weaver bird from the family Ploceidae which is found in eastern and central Africa. There are several disjunct populations with distinguishable plumage patterns. The main species found in Kenya is Reichenow's weaver (P. b. reichenowi) which is in Kenyan highlands, included most isloated northern mountains. P. B. emini is found also in some parts of Kenya.
It lives found at the edges of forests, and in woodlands, parks, and gardens.
The Reichenow’s Weaver makes a loose woven nest in trees or bushes.
